A very fine pair of George IV Snuffer Scissors made in London in 1825 by Joseph Angell

The Snuffer Scissors are of typical form and are decorated with gadrooned borders and scrolls. The pierced arms are decorated with herring bone designs and the arms are joined with a beautiful Tudor rose boss. The Scissors are in excellent condition and are of the finest quality, which this maker was famous for. They display crisp marks inside the snuffing box.
