A very fine pair of George III Stuffing/Serving Spoons made in London in 1778, maker's mark of J.S.

These very elegant spoons have slender Old English pattern stems, with a crisp bright cut outer border. The top of each stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest. The Spoons are in excellent crisp condition, with good bowls and clear hallmarks. They are also of a very good gauge and weight.
