A very fine pair of George III Salt Cellars made in London by Robert Sharp in 1803 & 1805.

The Salt Cellars are cast and stand on a stepped circular foot. The deep circular bowls have a gadrooned rim and gilded interiors. The front of each piece is engraved with a contemporary Crest and both are well marked on the foot. Each Salt Cellar is of an exceptional weight.
