A very fine pair of early George III Cast Candlesticks made in London in 1763 by Ebenezer Coker.

The Candlesticks stands on a stepped square base which is decorated with gadrooning. The central shaft is shaped baluster in form and displays a section of swirl fluting at the base. The detachable square nozzles display an outer gadrooned band, also shown on the main section. Each piece is fully marked in the base and with the Sterling mark on the nozzle. This pair are in excellent condition and are a very good weight.
