A very fine George III Wine Coaster made in London in 1795 by David Hennell.


The Wine Coaster is circular in form with a stepped base and reeded rim. The sides are pierced with vertical pails and triangular motifs, surrounded by unusual foliate engraving. The sides are also engraved with various prick dot bands and a navette shaped cartouche containing a contemporary Crest. The Coaster is in excellent condition, with its original turned fruit wood base.
