The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular and is engraved on the cover to simulate a wallet, with bright cut vine leaf designs on the flap and scale work engaving on the cover and base. The sides are engraved with prick dot bands and the base also displays a rectangular cartouche engraved with a set of initials. The interior displays a cast grille of simulated filigree with a central heart motif and an outer beaded frame. Very well marked and in excellent condition.
