A very fine George III Mustard Pot made in London in 1793 by John Denzilow.


The Mustard Pot has a rectangular form with incuse corners and is engraved with prick dot and wriggle work borders. The shaped, domed, cover is engraved with the same designs as seen on the main body, as well as two contemporary Crests, and terminates in a ball finial. This piece has a scroll handle and fan shaped thumb piece. The Mustard Pot has a blue glass liner and is fully marked on the base and with the makers mark and sterling mark on the cover. This unusual piece is in quite excellent condition.
