A very fine George III Mustard Pot made in London in 1783 by Robert Hennell.

The Mustard Pot is of the Drum form and the sides are pierced with two bands of vitruvian scrolls and Classical urns in ovals. The sides are also engraved with prick dot bands and floral garlands. The cover displays an outer prick dot border of scroll work and the scroll handle displays a fan shaped thumb piece where it is attached to the cover. The Mustard Pot is in excellent crisp condition, has a blue glass liner, and is fully marked on the base and with the sterling mark on the cover.
