The Caster stands on a circular spreading foot decorated with reeding. The vase shaped main body is unusually engraved with a contemporary Armorial, and a Crest on the reverse. The domed cover terminates in a bell finial and is pierced with panels of scroll work and roundels, engraved with a trellis work surround. The caster is in excellent condition and is fully marked in the foot and with the makers mark on the cover.
