A rare William IV Silver mounted Travelling Inkwell made in London in 1835 by Archibald Douglas.

The Travelling Inkwell is of a very unusually small size and was probably made for a child. The silver mounts are decorated with reeding and beautiful borders of pluming scrolls. The cover is also engraved with a contemporary Crest, which when unscrewed, reveals the interior well. This example is in excellent condition and is very well marked. The engraving has been executed to the highest standard.
