A rare Rococo Revival Caddy Spoon made by Martin Hall & Company in Sheffield in 1857.

This very unusual Caddy spoon is die stamped and modelled in the Rococo Revival. This piece displays a swirling shell bowl decorated with scrolls and the shaped handle displays feathery scrolls, shell details, flower heads and grapes. This very rare design is well marked on the reverse of the bowl. Similar designs are shown on Plate 104 of Caddy Spoons, by Captain John Norie.
