223324
The Label is modelled in a rare style which was peculiar to the workshops of Robert Gray & Son of Glasgow, often known as the Paul Storr of the North. The label is of the die stamped variety, with a shaped border, decorated above with vine leaves and grapes and at the bottom with a Rococo shell, flanked by scrolls. This example is very well marked and is engraved for MADEIRA. A rare design.
