A rare George IV miniature Soup Ladle made in London in 1812 by Thomas Death.

The Soup Ladle is of an unusually small size and was probably used in a bachelor tureen. This example is modelled in the Old English Pattern and has a swirling shell bowl. The ladle is very well marked and the top of the stem is engraved with a contemporary Crest. Ladles of this smaller size are particularly scarce.

Length: 10.6 inches, 26.5cm.
