A rare George III Wine Label made in Dublin circa 1805 by J. Townsend.


The Wine Label is modelled in the rare enclosed crescent style with scrolls and a vacant oval cartouche above. The label displays crisp bright cut borders and is engraved with the title, MADEIRA. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.
