A rare George III Telescopic Toasting Fork made in London in 1809 by Thomas Dix.

This rare Toasting Fork has three tines and is of the unusual telescopic form which slides back into the leather covered section. The end is fitted with a suspensory ring, so that it can by hung up when not in use.
