A rare George III Silver Gilt Dish, probably for almonds or Olives, made in London in 1814 by Edward Farrell
245663
The Dish is broad rectangular in form with a stepped rim which is decorated with gadrooning. The border displays a crisp set of marks and is engraved with a set of contemporary script initials. The image does not fully capture its nature as it is a very desirable item and the gilding is in excellent condition.
