A rare George III Serving Slice made in London in 1773 by Richard Meach.
282702
The Slice displays a triangular blade pierced with scroll work engraved with linear designs. The central section shows a large central fish, flanked by two smaller fish. The Hanoverian pattern handle is decorated with a feather edge border and is attached to the blade with a cast shell moulding. The Slice is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse. A most unusual design, seldom seen on the market.
