A rare George III Neo-Classical Urn Mustard Pot made in London in 1791 by Robert Cruikshank.

The Mustard Pot stands on a circular pedestal foot which is decorated with beading. The vase shaped main body also has a beaded rim and the hinged cover terminates in an unusual domed cover. The scroll handle is decorated with leaf capping and is attached to the cover with a most unusual pierced thumb piece. The Mustard is fully marked on the side of the main body and with the sterling mark on the cover. Mustard Pots modelled in the urn form are scarce.
