A rare George III Meat Skewer made in Dublin in 1789 by Richard Smith.

The Skewer is modelled in a typically Irish design with a large ring end with protruding section beneath, displaying incuse sides. This example is engraved with a contemporary Crest and is very unusually marked around the ring. The Skewer is in excellent condition and has a good colour.
