A rare George III Double Snuff Box made in Birmingham in 1807 by Samuel Pemberton.

The Pocket Snuff Box has a curved broad rectangular form and is engraved all over with unusual sylised oak leaves on a scratch engraved ground. The cover and base are also decorated with two bands of twisted ropework. Each end displays a beautiful flowerhead surrounded by prick dot designs. This piece has two compartments for different types of snuff and the interior is finely gilded and well marked. This rare piece is in exceptional condition.
