A rare George III Caddy Spoon made in London in 1789 by William Brockwell

The Caddy Spoon is modelled in a rare early design with raying shell bowl displaying a central beaded band in the bowl. The very unusual wide rectangular handle has incuse corners and a bright cut outer border. The centre of the handle is engraved with a bright cut navette shaped cartouche engraved with the contemporary initials AF. This piece is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the reverse of the handle.
