This rare spoon is realistically modelled as a Spade and is unusually of plain design with a T shaped handle. These spoons were nearly all made in the workshops of Cocks & Bettridge and a similar engraved example can be seen on Plate 48 of Caddy Spoons, by Captain John Norie. The spoon is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
