A rare George III Butter Spade made in Birmingham in 1809 by Joseph Willmore.

The Butter Spade would have been used to serve butter at the table and has an unusual acorn shaped blade engraved with pretty prick dot bands and borders. This rare piece has an ivory handle and is very well marked on the reverse.
