A rare George III
369593
The bowl is finely modelled as a wide raying shell and the handle is unusually decorated with reeding. This is a particularly unusual design which was peculiar to the workshops of William Pugh and examples are extremely rare. This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked. Due to the scarcity of its design, it is not shown in Caddy Spoons by Captain John Norie.
