A rare George II Punch Ladle, Chester, 1738, Richard Richardson II


The Ladle has an egg shaped bowl, of very good gauge, and a silver sleeve which houses the turned fruitwood handle. The sleeve is attached to the main body with a shield shaped moulding. The ladle is fully marked on the exterior of the bowl, which has a very fine colour.
