A rare antique silver Trivet made in London in 1844 by Robert Hennell.

The Trivet stands on four shaped feet and has nine bar divisions and an attractive scroll carrying handle. These pieces were used to keep both hot and cold items off the surface of a table, however they are seldom seen made in silver.
