A pair of George III pierced Wine Coasters made in London in 1791 by Thomas Daniel.

The Wine Coasters are circular in form and display a reeded rim. The sides are pierced with a band of stylised foliate motifs and are also engraved with floral garlands. The sides are also engraved with a contemporary Crest in a bright cut rectangular cut cornered cartouche. Both pieces are well marked and display their original turned mahogany bases.
