A Good pair of early George III cast Candlesticks made in London in 1770 by William Cattell.

The Candlesticks have shaped bases decorated with scrolls and stylised shells. The bases rise to baluster shaped stems decorated with shells, lobing and horizontal corded bands. The pull off nozzles also display the same shells as shown on the bases. The Candlesticks are in excellent condition and are fully marked in the base and with the makers mark and sterling mark on the nozzles.
