A George III Wine Label made in Dublin circa 1788 by John Stoyte.

The Wine Label is eye shaped in form and is pierced with an outer border of stylised foliate motifs. The face is engraved with various prick dot and bright cut bands, as well as the title CLARET. The label displays pierced and engraved tied ribbons above and the reverse is very well marked.
