A George III Caddy Spoon made in London in 1794 by Thomas Northcote & George Bourne
135377
The Spoon has a wide circular scallop shaped bowl and a most unusual shield shaped handle, decorated with an outer bright cut band. The partnership of Northcote and Bourne was short lived and very few Caddy Spoons survive by these silversmiths working together. This is also a design which we had not previously seen.
