The Beaker is plain in design and has slightly tapering sides. The front of the main body is engraved with a contemporary Armorial surrounded by a scratch and prick dot engraved oval cartouche. The Arms are those of the Leigh family of Preston, Co.York. The Beaker is very well marked on the base.
