A fine set of six George III Old English Pattern Serving Spoons made in Edinburgh in 1799 by Alexander Gairdner.

The Spoons are modelled in the Old English Pattern and the top of each stem is engraved with the initial S in typical Scottish script lettering. Each spoon is very well marked and they are of the finest quality, with good bowls. These would be ideal for serving.
