A fine Pair of George III Salt Cellars made in London in 1796 by Peter Podio.


The Salt Cellars stand on a square pedestal foot and the circular main body is unusually panelled. The rim and harp shaped handles are decorated with reeding and the front is engraved with a contemporary Crest. The interior of the bowl displays its original gilding and the interior of the foot shows a crisp set of hallmarks.
