A fine pair of George III Entree Dishes made in London in 1808 by William Bennett.

The Entree Dishes and covers have lobed borders and terminate in a reed and branch finial. The finial has a bayonet fitting, which can be removed, so that the cover can be used as a serving dish. all pieces are in excellent condition and are very well marked. The side of the cover is engraved with a contemporary Armorial. The Arms are those of the Ellison family impaling those of Green.
