A fine pair of George III Butter Shells made in London one circa 1780 by Andrew Fogelberg and the other in 1791.

The matched Butter Shells both stand on two winkle feet and are of an unusual size. They each have a beaded carrying handle. One butter shell is marked only with the makers mark of Andrew Fogelberg and the other bears the hallmarks for London, 1791. Both shells are in excellent condition.
