A fine pair of George II Silver Gilt Sugar Nips made in London circa 1755 by Henry Plumpton.

The Nips are of typical cast form with scroll shaped arms and shell grips. The central oval boss is engraved, on the front, with a contemporary Crest and on the reverse with contemporary initials. The Nips are in excellent condition and are marked on the finger grips.
