A fine George IV Pocket Watch Vinaigrette made in Birmingham in 1826 by Joseph Willmore.

The Vinaigrette is finely modelled as a Pocket Watch and the coverand base are engraved with a stylised flower head surrounded by a chased band of trailing foliage and flower heads. The sides are engraved with prick dot designs and this example has a spiral suspensory ring. The interior is finely gilded and the grille is pierced and engraved with feathery scrolls and flowerheads.
