A fine George III Vinaigrette made in Birmingham in 1808 by Joseph Willmore.

The Vinaigrette is slender broad rectangular in form. The cover is engraved with unusual horizontal bands of ovals and wriggle work, all surrounding an oval cartouche engraved with contemporary script initials. The base is engraved with prick dot bands and a central floral spray. The interior is finely gilded and the grille is pierced and engraved with trellis and Greek Key designs.
