A fine George III Reeded Tankard made in London in 1780 by John Robins.

The Tankard is of slightly tapering form and the sides are decorated with two wide bands of reeding. The hinged cover comes to a point at the front and is engraved with an outer bright cut border. This piece has a plain scroll handle and is engraved on the cover and main body with a contemporary Crest. The Tankard is in excellent condition and is fully marked on both the cover and the base.
