A fine George III Pepper Caster made in London in 1800 by John Robins.

The Pepper stands on a spreading pedestal foot which is decorated with reeding. The plain vase shaped main body rises to a domed pull off cover, also decorated with reeding, which is pierced with plain roundels and terminates in a ball finial. The pepper has exceptional interior gilding, is very well marked and is in excellent condition.
