A fine George III Helmet Milk Jug made in London in 1794 by Crespin Fuller.

The Jug stands on a square pedestal foot with incuse corners. The foot is decorated with reeding, foliate motifs and bright cut designs. The panelled main body displays a reeded rim and border below beautifully engraved with foliate motifs and flower heads in ovals, all on a scratch engraved ground. The front displays a set of contemporary script initials around a very finely engraved cartouche of drapery mantlting. This example is in excellent condition and is fully marked in the foot. The engraving has been executed to the highest standard.
