The lower section of the jug is decorated with lobing, below a central band which displays the same unusual decoration which is seen on the foot. The main body rises to an everted rim which is decorated with gadrooning and the interior is finely gilded. This example also has a flying scroll handle which is decorated with reeding and leaf capping. The Jug is in excellent condition, is of the finest quality and is very well marked in the foot.
