A fine George III Butter Spade made in London in 1792 by George Smith & William Fearn.

The Butter Spade has a silver triangular blade, with shaped top edge, engraved with a contemporary Crest. The silver section of the handle is attached to the green stained ivory handle with a reeded moulding. The Spade is fully marked on the reverse of the blade.
