A fine George I Mug made in London in 1722 by Ambrose Stevenson.

The Mug is of a large size with a slightly baluster body and everted rim decorated with a reeded band. This piece has an applied stepped foot, tucked in base and plain scroll handle. The base displays a crisp set of marks and the mug has a fine colour and is of a good weight and gauge.
