A fine Apple Corer made in Birmingham in 1879 by George Unite.

The Apple Corer is of typical form and the tubular handle is engraved with foliate motifs, as well as a shield shaped cartouche engraved with contemporary initials and the date 1881. The plain blade unscrews and fits perfectly into the handle for travelling.
